My biggest beefs are with officials who love the demonstrative nature of the charge call...it became SO bad they had to change the rules and put a semicircle under the basket. This was mostly evident in past with Duke's floppers

They've had to come up with a freedom of movement emphasis due to the deterioration of officiating.

Of course I don't complain about the bad calls that go our way...because I'm a VT fan...I can recognize when we get them.

My main theme has been how bad officials have become.

Fortunately this year has been better but it's taken rules changes to force them to call a game reasonably well.

I can't stand out of control guards being bailed out because they initiate contact and I really can't stand charges being given for flopping


Lack of consistency from one end of court to the other is my biggest peeve
