LSU has always been a shady place, from a 1959 Heisman Trophy winner being convicted of counterfeiting, to the Lester Earl $6,000 payoff from Dr. Redfield Bryan, the other basketball scandals under Dale Brown, to a scandal about football coach Curley Hallman having sex with cheerleaders, to a booster paying $180,000 to the family of a lineman recruit, to basketball coach Will Wade being caught on tape talking about paying players in an FBI sting, to the sexual harassment and sexual assault complaints buried and ignored, etc...etc... (I forget them all, there have been so many scandals at LSU).
