made. At this point, the things that Sands has control of aren't contributing to the downfall of the football program. I think he probably encourages what's been happening with expanded our Olympic sports profile, but I don't think he's handcuffing the AD as much as Fuente's hire and performance have over the past couple years. Not to mention how fundraising is handled around the AD and how we don't promote our former players who have gone on to great success nearly as much as other programs do.

To me, Sands has been somewhat neutral with the AD. It's more so the performance of the AD that's hamstrung most things.
