There's a major difference between opting out at the beginning of the

season, and playing most of the way through the season, your team being bad and deciding to quit.

I don't blame either one of these guys for making the choice they made. It was in their best interest. Farley's decision came at a point of much greater confusion about this pandemic. He also didn't agree with how things were being handled in the program.

Jalen Johnson just decided he didn't want to play anymore. It wasn't because of COVID.
