True... Very high risk... but very high reward


One immediate example i can think of is Carmelo Anthony. He elevated an otherwise Sweet 16 type team to a national championship. Kentucky has done very well under Calipari with this method... but the valleys can be low as well.

But yes, this method also leaves VERY good players available to the VTs and UVAs of the world.
