Doesnt mean youll accept their commitment. You always want to offer kids at every position in every class. You never know how your current roster will shake out. You could have a player opt out, get arrested, or become injury-prone...or even leave early for the draft.

In those instances you dont want to start recruiting kids after everyone has had a 6 or 7 month head start on you. So you offer all the kids you like, then maintain relationships and keep a finger on the pulse for who will make a decision when.

2023 is an awful long time away to think you know exactly what the roster breakdown will be.
