It actually doesn’t take a long time to undo wild weeds as you called it. Most new coaches including Fuente get a recruiting bump at the beginning because they are fresh and new (limitless possibilities). The problem wasn’t 5 years ago, the problem has been the last couple years when recruiting has fallen off a cliff. Recruits have seen Fuente in action and they aren’t interested.

BTW, I don’t remember Hite being much of a recruiter-Cavanaugh yes but not Hite.
