The work it takes to stay in good physical form in the 40's is insane.

He's human just like the rest of us. He's gotta be on such a strict, year round, disciplined workout and diet plan to keep form. Once you're in your 40's, a drop off happens very quick and takes longer to build back up, so you gotta be extra disciplined to keep the drop off from happening. I'm actually curious what his routine is and wondering about copying it!

I'm 45 myself, hit the squat rack I built into my garage 3 times a week, and am in pretty decent shape for a desk jockey engineer but am always looking for new tips because it just gets harder to harder to slow down the physical decline as father time does his work. I know what you mean about hitting 35 and things changing. That's why I started lifting hardcore. Things started breaking down so I joined a gym, got a coach, and 6 months of worship at the iron temple seemed to get the decline in check. These days, though, it hurts! But it hurts more if I stop lifting for any period of time.
