It's embarrassing


I would say my son's D2 school does at least an equal job at least with the online stuff (they don't have much TV coverage other than some local news spots).

I don't feel like VT puts much value into their media presence. I think that does hurt VT with recruiting some. I also don't feel VT in general puts much value in the little things that go a long way like the cell service. I hate to keep comparing to Liberty, but we did visit there recently, and everything is oriented to serving the student and the student experience. Felt the same about my son's D2 school. Everything says "we value you as a student, parent, alumnus, etc." I honestly don't get that much from VT other than "please send us your money". Maybe it's the difference in a private and public school. I do know my son chose a small school over big state schools because they felt like they had his best interest a student far more in the forefront.
