If we double our rate, that puts the calc at 15-Sep-2021

Thanks to all for their thoughts.

So if indeed they ramp-up the rate, to say double and work 7 days/week, then that puts us at around Sept 15, 2021. At what point do you think the Governor would open up the state? What if surrounding states are significantly behind us with breakouts? How much lead time would Whit need to open for a full stadium turnout? It’s easy to change schedules with an empty stadium, but with ~60K to attend, one can’t provide a week’s notice? It seems this whole process will be touch and go.

Perhaps I’m just deeply discouraged after listening to the local authorities act like there is no urgency, and learning that they are only doing vaccs on 4 of 7 days per week. Furthermore their organization and planning seemed to be lacking, as folks in group 1a have had to wait 2 hours on the phone to get appts, and waits have been 2 hours at their med sites. The county had troubles getting their phone system working and their IT folks are just being engaged. I also see that Virginia ranks 38th in getting folks vaccinated per CDC.
