Massively inconsistent team this year. They looked really good in some games and then lost some complete head scratchers. That this game was close doesn’t really mean anything for next year. It’s a random game with little overall meaning played by teams with varying levels of motivation. And that of course is before we even get to the fact that who knows what the teams will look like by the time we play next year. I’ll be worried about UNC the week we play them. Until then I honestly couldn’t care less. And that’s basically goes for any other team on the schedule. Given how much changed in the past 12 months I’m certainly not concerned about games that will happen 8 months from now. Too many variables both football and non-football related.
