Re -" desperation recruit".....
It might be that in the world of collegiate sports, all recruiting is desperation. Every program, every sport, every position has needs, and coaches are focused on filling those needs. Knox Kadum was a very successful high school QB. Many programs would like to have him. He very likely is much better than many high school QBs who would have loved to have received an offer from VT or any college for that matter. We needed another QB and Knox was one of the best available. Had we passed on him, we would have been using Mitchell as our QB when BB was injured. I hope Knox does well, develops to his full potential and contributes to the success of our team. He, the coaches, and the Hokies need our support. They all have mine.
