We have fallen off a cliff with recruiting and are starting at "year 1" allegedly - after 6 cycles (albeit a very short cycle between November and February in first cycle). All of this may have been fine in true year 1 where he started building something at that point. Now we are broken down and up for an entire new rebuild.

Which leads to the next problem... money. We are paying a coach in the top 25 or 26 coaches in the FBS and we aren't getting top 26 results ANYWHERE. Not in recruiting, not in fan outreach, not in increasing donor base, and not in results on the field. But we owe him a lot of money.

So after 5 years, we are recruiting in the bottom of the ACC now (trending two years in a row) and trying to rebuild after 5 years with a coach. I don't think many signed up for that mix, but maybe I'm wrong. I'd be fine if we were paying him like a G5 coach and getting those results. But we aren't.
