For some key factors of which many have speculated endlessly, he’s ours for now. Anyone that reads my posts knows where I stand on this, but I’m done with debating why or how he’s our head coach for now.

So, not sure why we are twisting ourselves in knots on a Sunday night before New Year’s but maybe just a dull evening or nothing better to do.

We hit a home run w Herbert last year in the portal, so no reason to believe we can’t plug some holes the same way this year. I’d remind people that Jerod Evans was kind of a portal player who did quite well for us.

Let’s see what we can pick up portal wise; see how the spring game goes; get through summer; hopefully Covid bs is over; If it’s all bad by then, we can get out the pitch forks, march down to 25 Beamer Way and demand Whit’s head and disembowel Fu out by Lane Stadium. Until then, just getting worked up over something that’s pretty fixed right now just seems a big waste of time.
