People seemed to have just skipped over the fact that Clemson was missing 4 defensive starters, 2 of which are All American candidates and they didn't have the best player in America on the field at QB. ESPN talked it up nicely saying how "Clemson backup QB really played well" as if to say or project the point that.........it wouldn't have mattered to much more if Lawrence would have played because the backup played really well. Fact is, the backup sees the field nowhere close to what Lawrence does and it's a light year's difference regardless if he "played well."

We saw what happened when Clemson was full strength and had their players. It was a blowout and completely no contest.
