Star athlete transfers into new school and takes starting position from current QB (we’ll call him John). New guy even starts attracting the attention of John’s cheerleader girlfriend. Instead of giving us a Rocky like training montage set to an 80’s power ballad and earning both his spot and girl back, John just decides to transfer to a new school and his parents pack up all their belongings and move.
