Much easier to get wins at VT, AND we accept much weaker results. Barely

hitting .500 against the 'murderer's row' of football powerhouses like Pitt, Duke, UVA, Miami, UNC, Wake, etc. (while sprinkling in losses to newbie FBS programs) doesn't cause full-scale meltdown in the administration. Meanwhile, do that at Auburn and you need police escorts out of town.

VT is still a GREAT job, especially for the next HC who won't be following Beamer.
