We talk about all the stress, did it just start after the UVA game?

I keep hearing about Covid and players getting a swap up their noses 3 times per week and all the protocols and restrictions as reasons to not play a bowl game simply due to the stress, fatigue, players emotionally tired. Well, was this fatigue not there in game one through the UVA game, or did it just start when the clock went to 0.00 at the end of the UVA game? I think it's a complete joke.
