I'm saying the Coach should have NEVER put it in the players hands in order to be agreed with or overturned. It's a football season. You committed from practice one, and if you are selected to a Bowl, you play in the Bowl, PERIOD. Just my take. So, I'm saying it never should have reached the players. If I were HC, I wouldn't have given them a choice. Is suggests to me a quit first mentality and that when things are tough in life, you bail out and take another direction. Only my opinion. A multi million dollar coach and 18-22 year old kids deciding if Va Tech plays in a Bowl Game? A no-brainer to me
