Whit has consistently made great hires for VT. Whether Fuente ends up being the answer or not, Whit go the hottest guy on the table at the time. He ahs made two fantastic Basketball hires for a non-basketball school.

If Fuente doesn't get this ship righted next year or the year after, Whit will make the hard decision to fire him. I think he is right in giving Justin another years due to COVID. I think Fuente's biggest problem is recruiting. That has to step up for VT to be successful. If Tyrod Taylor was the QB of this year's team. they would have won three more games with everything else the same. That's one recruit folks between 5-6 and 8-3 and we aren't shoving this discussion.

Fuente may not ultimately be the answer, but we will not do better than Whit at the AD spot and if we let him go, we are idiots.
