Yet this message board seems to be dominated by negativity and venom for Whit, Fu and even Sands. Many Hokie fans I know say the toxicity makes them shy away from the board much less posting on it.

And yes, I know that a post like this may result in a barrage of negative reactions from the "woe is us" crowd.

I for one will cheer for the Hokies win or lose. I'll wear my Hokie shirts win or lose. I'm encouraged by the new recruits coming in and by the comments of Whit and the coaches over the past 2 days. I am hopeful for a good season in 2021.
