To your point on recruiting, take #21 out of the equation and where does
the final ranking sit? Clearly the team would have found more production from other RBs, probably in the traditional CJF committee approach. Good teams have good players, great teams have great players, championship caliber teams usually have great players and a superstar or two that makes the difference. It comes down to recruiting some (not all) top caliber players that will stick for 3 to 4 years. I know it takes all kinds, but I think it says something about culture when starters, projected starters, or those that would see ample PT are entering the portal. Hoping for better, but expecting status quo.
