five years is enough to examine the record fairly and to see the trends and whatnot. None of what we've seen the past 3 years gives me any hope that another year will turn things around. The only positive trend has been the clearing of the toxic lockerroom, but thats it. Offense is still bad (despite our best O-Line in at least 10 years if not 20), general game management questionable, continued 2nd Half collapses and/or shutdowns (indicating inability to adjust in-game), nonexistent player development (Fu was supposed to be the QB Whisperer- none of our QBs have gotten better over time), and in the past two years, catastrophically bad recruiting which will leave a giant hole in the program that will hamper us 2-3 years from now (unless Portal Save Us).

This is not one bad season, this is not one bad loss, this isnt "you were the bomb yesterday now fire you". This is years of bad performance and excusies running thin. Not to mention the whole Baylor fiasco. So, no, the only fickleness going on are the people getting back on the bandwagon after beating UVA on the strength of one quarter (with the usual offensive collapse in the 2H, no less).
