I'm not 100% sold on Coach Fu, but I do see some positives.

The offense is better than it has been in years, and the O Line depth is awesome, we have a bright future there. QB play has been statistically better than what the eye test says, and coupled with the running game is more than adequate for success.

Special teams have been suspect but before this year I would give Shibest a grade of A+ and except for punt returns seem to be at an advantage.

The defense has issues, but new scheme, new coordinator that is to be expected. What's not to like about J Ham, T&T, I would give them time to do their job and get things up and running.

I think there are positives to point to, staff increases in recruiting, student athlete performance center, updated weight rooms. I do think the future can be bright. Is it a sure thing, no but I can find reasons to be excited.

Would you be willing to gamble away all the positives for a whole staff makeover right now. I'm not so sure. I could be wrong but I'm willing to let it ride another year and see what the future holds. Go Hokies!!
