The more I think about it the more I wish CMY could have also brought Storm Murphy with him as a transfer from Wofford. While the role of the “traditional “ point guard is different in this offense you absolutely need someone with good traditional point guard skills. This is why our staff was all in on Carter Whitt and quickly closed on Sean Pedulla. Our point guards are holding on to the ball for too long too often. The offense is predicated on quick passing and ball movement even down low. I saw this in Bede dribble to much a lot last year and not much has changed...hopefully Diarra can figure this out or maybe Alleyne or Radford even. This offense is a beautiful thing when the point grasps what needs to happen. Also no intensity on D and we looked intimidated by their physicality.
