Two UVA fans were to my left. One was particularly drunk, and he came up to me and said "We're so much better than yall this year, but congrats in advance on your victory. We still won't beat you."

Like him, I was convinced UVA was better, but I thought they were going to win, and I assured him that the streak was going to end. The darndest thing you'll ever see...a VT fan and a UVA fan having a friendly back-and-forth about why their own team was going to lose.

This poor guy left when VT got up 14-0. He just couldn't handle it emotionally anymore. He was at his emotional breaking point. I hope he wasn't too drunk to enjoy it last year.
