...well after all the other coaching vacancies had been filled, and had he been hired by Baylor, VT would have been totally screwed. I'm not saying Fuente was thinking only about himself, but I do think he struggles with self-awareness and how he is being perceived by his players and fans of the team. Perhaps there is more to that story and I'm not being fair - maybe Babcock "encouraged" Fuente to interview with Baylor - but it certainly didn't sit well with most of the fanbase.

I haven't watched a game in over a year, so I have no idea what Fuente's interactions with the press/fans have been like this season, but a lot of Fuente's issues right now are self-inflicted as far as I'm concerned.
