I agree with most of your post, except


for the statement, "Being a fan can be tougher than being a player, in that we can't do anything".
The players and the staff put all they have into preparing and playing every game, and a loss hurts more, just as a victory feels better. As a fan, its just emotional, for the players, coaches, trainers and support staff its everything they work for.The embarrassment of a blowout or the pain and agony of a close loss, is exponentially harder on the player/staff than a fan. But most important, GO HOKIES!!
