I'm no insider, but where there is smoke there is fire, and it seems to me the present staff doesn't have the relationships with HS coaches Beamer's staff did. I also believe the reason why Beamer had so many 'off the radar' players who became great college players is the high school coaches told them who the hard workers were and weren't.
