You are right about one thing

In 2019 UC got almost $29,702,000 from School Funds (the University) to make up for the lack of giving by Alums and Students. Tech gets $2,957 (that right twenty nine hundred and fifty-seven dollars) from the School Funds. Think about that disparity.
And as far as Student Funds we are below UVA per student.
No University backing and poor mouth student backing.
And our Alums gave more in 2007 than 2019.
