My watered down two cents again.

Several days ago I posted on how Shane Beamer for Head Coach at VT was growing on me and all the reasons it made sense.

Well since then, curiousity got the best of me and down the rabbit hole of possible replacements for a position that isn't even available yet or that may not become available, I went.

Of course, the usual hot names pop up along side some of those not much known or completely cringe worthy canidates. One such candidate that's way down the list is one Will Healy, HC for the Charlotte 49ers. A young up and coming coach with great mentors.

Does he have a great record and tons of experience or the HOT name? No. Though I believe Coach Healy could make positive waves at getting the VT football program whipped back into shape for players, fans, former players and with the media. He seems to get what a lot of coaches have recently forgot as they are chasing the next HUGE payday.

He could be a flop. He could be a steal of a deal. He could win a bunch and get that Huge payday at another school. The risks are just as much as they are with a HOT name coaching hire. Fu was the HOT coach and we see how that has went.

All I do know is watching videos and reading about Will Healy has opened my mind to this idea of a possible great fit as the Head Coach of VT Football. Maybe it's his Anti-Fu vibe or maybe I'm crazy. Whichever the case I've became a Will Healy fan for sure.

But again this is just message board material and I have no say just my own formulated opinions.

Remember you can't spell Funk without Fu.
