Just this week, he assured the press we had no opt-outs. Quoting from Cory Van Dyke's article from yesterday: "However, Fuente and the players today stressed that no one has talked about opting out or transferring with the prospects looking bleak for the rest of the season."

After that statement, if we have a rash of opt-outs, we'll clearly know Fuente is either:
a) playing us all for fools, or
b) totally unplugged and clueless

Either way, it won't be a good look. Will be interesting to see how this plays out over the next few days.
