I saw JHam’s hiring exactly that way
A low cost DC with a low buyout so that if we had to fire Fu soon we wouldn’t also have to pay a huge buyout for an assistant coach whereas a big name / up-and-comer DC would need more financial backing. And if JHam works out great, all the better but I definitely saw this as hedging our bets and a sign the writing was on the wall for Fu. [Post edited by niemo21 at 11/25/2020 05:18AM]
