I volunteered


My parents didn't have money to send me to college so I joined the Marine Corps. All I had to do was survive and they gave me 45 months of the GI Bill.. took me all the way through my masters degree. I didn't have the maturity to do that when I was 18/19, but I sure had fun. School was just a walk in the park after the USMC, but not as much fun.
