I do think those suburban/urban areas you mentioned are more national than state in mindset. Some is the moving to DC area some is military but they do not identify as Virginians whether you call VA southern or mid atlantic. They just don't. And, if the COA at MD or NCSU is greater, then that is where they go.

I don't think this staff has outreached to and identified useable talent in either the Urban Crescent nor the rest of the state, With that said, I am hopeful in what J ham, Tapp Fuller etc can do.
