You can have the covid excuse, but not the bad play, bad recruiting, and

unwillingness to change. It's really a a sad year because we had all these pieces coming back, then covid, then our majorly depleted secondary, new coaches, on and on. I'm pretty apathetic and disappointed like so many others, really wanted something to look forward to watching during this sucky year. It's not the product I wanted or expected. Just so confused how awesome our OL and rb looked and how lousy we look elsewhere.

Then the last 3 games happened. I considered quitting being a fan altogether after Saturday. Well, I'm slightly back from the ledge now. I think I'm overreacting. This year is just weird enough with everything I do think our team needs to be cut slack. Sure there are major red flags with play, recruiting, and such, but I do think our team tries, our coach is a good person, and this year deserves a complete pass.

I'm still terrified of the lack of recruiting inroads and what that means for the future. We can rely on a few transfers, but I could truly believe we'd get it turned around if we weren't doing so poorly with talent. I don't think Dabo, Nick Saban or Urban Meyer could right this ship. So how do we help Fuente do better?
