There is no other post or comment that is tied to anything being some kind of pre-condition or deal of sorts with the Beamer's - none.

This is a bad idea and will end up just like the Bowden fiasco at FSU. He had Jeff and his "posse" on staff down there and people got pissed - Jimbo was brought in as "coach in waiting" and Bowden left very upset. To the point he did not go to Doak Campbell for a game for several years and still doesn't (to my knowledge) on a regular basis.

We are best to keep the vivid and clear memories of our HOF coach and the only thing that can diminish that is if his son comes here, doesn't succeed we will lose them both forever. That is not worth the risk and there are too many other candidates out there to focus in on this young man, primarily because of his last name.
