equivalent to MY b/c he's never been a head coach anywhere. I'm personally not looking for a new coach b/c I think the best course of action is to continue forward with Fuente. But I don't think Shane Beamer is the answer. I think he gets brought up b/c he is Frank's son. Ask yourself this... on any imaginary list of new coaches how many of them are not currently and have never been a head coach or a coordinator. On pretty much every list the answer is just one... Shane Beamer. He's not qualified and he didn't exactly light up the recruiting when he was here. In fact he apparently pissed off several high school coaches and hurt our relationships.

I'm all for Shane getting a shot somewhere. I do not think that his first shot should be here at Virginia Tech. I'd also be careful about assuming what someone's "dream job" is. You have no idea if that's accurate or not.
