Whatever style or scheme he likes or runs, the type of program, mannerisms - it’s just not working and hasn’t been. But, I do not see him being dismissed barring a 4-7 finish and even then I’m not sure.

The litany of excuses has run the full gamut but the one common factor is this is Fu’s team. His program. His _________ (whatever).

I left Doak Campbell Stadium one rainy September night in 2018 thinking we were on the brink of something big - special even. In retrospect, that might have been the high water mark, or even the down side of the peak. I was so wrong. What has transpired since then I think shocked us all.

I do share one thing with the pro-Fu brigade. It is in everyone’s best interest that this gets fixed and corrected quickly - with him. It’s terrible to fire a coach inside a contract as he has, and we are not blessed with the luxury of such costly moves. Money is best spent in other areas of need rather than a buyout, but he sure isn’t helping himself in that regard. If we are sitting here at 7-1 (and should be), I’m on my third plate of crow, with several more helpings to go.

Regardless of my posts I sincerely hope this team wins out and moves on to a better 2021. It’s best for everyone, but the main problem is my lying eyes keep telling me differently.
