put people in the system to do nothing but 'recruit' high school coaches. The thing I remember Beamer saying over and over on how he built the program was relationships with high school coaches. This , IMHO, is how VT for years and years, under Beamer, managed to consistently find lower ranked kids who overachieved. The high school coaches would inform our coaches who worked hard and who didn't. I can not see how we can have great relationships with any high school coaches at this moment with how scattered our recruiting has been.
