Clawson is in his seventh year there and consistently produces good football teams. His goal was to compete against NC state and UNC and he’s done that. From a fans point of view, I think we are guilty of overlooking the deacs.

That said, this team needs to get back on track quick. L-ville at 2-4 has to get in track too. They’ve lost to some good teams, but also lost to Georgia tech.

Going back to the wake loss, I credit the deacs to having a good plan to slow the tech offense. It was also poor execution on the offenses part. You can’t only complete 50 percent of your passes and throw three interceptions when your opponent is committing everything to stopping your run game. I expect the Hokies will have there execution issues fixed this week
