Dabo’s initial contract was around $1M .. up from his assistant job of $213K.

He had no head coaching experience, but the AD had his eye on him.

Huge gamble fans didn’t like the idea; in fact, they hated it.

But he was the right guy.

Now they have this big budget because he recruited his way to a couple of national championships and fans are easily separated from their money, because they love the EXCITEMENT that this guy brings to the program.

Fu has recruited us where?

This guy is Mr. Aloof. I’ve seen more excitement a funeral than at his pressers.

We are struggling because we don’t sell out Lane like we did before.

Folks all around me have given up on buying season tickets.

Whit and his re-seating plans have also alienated many as well.

Let’s face it, who wants to drive all the way to the ‘burg and watch a game like last year’s game with Duke?

In short, we are where we are because of the coach we have. And that’s true for every program. Look at FSU.. it’s got to be their coach.

With Miami and all their talent every year has to be their coach.

Look where we were before Beamer came along he brought us out of the wilderness of backwater football.

It’s the coach that is responsible ...period ... full stop.
