It comes down to the players following protocols. If they do not, this is the outcome. My kid is an athlete at an SEC school and I can tell you they get tested often, either on a regular schedule or if they get the slightest symptoms. With a roster size of about 70, they have had 8 positives shortly after they came back to campus. Since then they (his team) have followed protocols and have had zero infections.
