D is gonna take a while to gel. We all love Bud and he deserves anything he wants, but we're now paying the price for holding on to him. Whether it was worth it is up to debate.

Personally, I think maybe we held on to him too long for at least a year. Hindsight, devotion to the legend and all that. I ain't mad.

Now Covid didn't do our rebuilding defense any favors. The alternative was wait it out till November like the Big 10.
