I think a lot of people see this game in the same lens that they saw the 2016 matchup in. UNC was ranked 17th and I think we were 24th in the nation. If it weren't for the pandemic and weirdness of the season, this is probably where both teams would be. I've heard Saturday might be a rain-fest. In Chapel Hill. A lot of comparisons to draw to 2016.

That being said, these two teams couldn't be any more different than they were in 2016. Fedora is nothing like Mackie. Our offense is nothing like it was in 2016 (a lot more success in the running game this season). We don't have the defense that we did from 2016. Again, we are the underdogs here. But I think between the comparisons to 2016 and UNC's efforts against Boston College last weekend, Tech fans feel pretty confident going in.
