Will be interesting, I will say we scheme super hard to have them succeed
Hooker is probably the only QB that you could plug into a normal offense and have it be successful.
Burmeister looked about as good throwing the ball as he did at Oregon, which is to say bad. The out route to Fairs that should've been an easy completion is case in point, that's a throw a legit P5 starting QB should be able to make 99% of the time.
We've seen Patterson play a lot at this point and the only throws he can make consistently are 15-20 yard fades. His other 2 big completions Saturday were an underthrown ball that Mitchell wrestled through a guy to get and a pass into the dirt behind Kaleb Smith that somehow he was able to catch.
If our oline and RBs weren't so dominant I don't think the feeling would be the same. So far Hooker is the only guy who's shown he can be the man in a game where we have to pass the ball. QP and Burmeister are basically running backs in our offense. [Post edited by soflahokie at 09/29/2020 5:41PM]
