That's a very uninformed 'take" on CFB - the correlation between recruiting well and winning consistently is indisputable.

Now just because you get top 10 recruiting classes doesn't ensure you will finish in the top 10, but it's nearly impossible to finish in the top 10 without outstanding recruiting.
