So it's important to keep in mind a few things: the 2-4% was our best guess 6 mos ago and is still much closer to the current truth than your .06% number, back when people were grasping for treatment ( like "the "game Changer" Hydroxy.) If we hadn't slowed the spread at that time the count would be WELL above 200k right now. hospitals would have been overwhelmed early, and people who have survived it would not have. Even folks who have not had Covid but had other Health needs.

Second.. cases are rising in the US right now, despite the wave of cases suffered by college students passing.. which means that older Americans will be the ones getting it now. Watch the deaths increase at a faster rate about 3 weeks from now ... and watch that .06% slowly grows to .1% or another 100,000 people. ... which would exceed total combat fatalities in WWII (WITH our "overreaction")
