I can't see a ton of dropoff if Fu were to leave.
It's rare to have a coach be pretty average (very hard to argue that the last 4 years under Fu deserve an adjective better than that), with more average seasons likely on the horizon (I see us as an 8-4 type of team this year if we play any games), that all of a sudden finds a switch and becomes a juggernaut. Dabo did it kinda, and Frank definitely did it, but those are few and far between.
Culturally this program is not materially better than in 2015, recruiting-wise it's not better, and pessimists could argue it's much worse as I think the highest ACC ranking we got last year was around 12 of 14. Not trying to bash him, as he works hard and I want him to be uber-successful....but I'm just not seeing the signs as we head into Year 5.
