Because the one in Tuscaloosa is pretty dang nice. The place oozes $$ when you look at all the buildings around the campus. Maybe not your cup of tea (nor mine) but it is far from a dump.

The state itself is beautiful. It has mountains and beaches. I could live there if I had to.
